Oats

What do i need?

  1. JENAN® white oats - 6 tbsp
  2. Lamb - 200g of small pieces
  3. Fresh tomato - 5 (roughly chopped)
  4. Water - 3 cups
  5. Olive oil - 3 tbsp
  6. Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  7. Cloves - 3
  8. Cardamom - 4 pieces
  9. Fresh cilantro - ½ bunch
  10. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  11. Green chili - ½ tsp
  12. Salt & pepper to taste

How do i prepare it?

  1. Heat olive oil, add onion and stir it until soft, add lamb with all the spices and let it cook until the lamb is cooked. Add water and let it boil for 5 minutes or until the meat is tender. In a seperate pot, cook Jenan oats until toasted. Blend tomato and cilantro in a mixer. Add the meat and oats and let it simmer until thick. Finally add salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste. Serve hot.
